Let’s face it, eyebrows are one of the first features noticed.

They can bring symmetry and frame your face, draw attention to your eyes, and give a more youthful look. The problem is, eyebrows can also be a reflection of stress, hormone changes, illness or even age taking their toll resulting in hair loss.


For years, JJ, one of Chicago’s premier brow artists, heard complaints from her clients, including Jen, another busy working mom, about their struggle to grow enough eyebrows for JJ to work with to achieve their desired brow look. Many of her clients turned to microblading or other expensive, unnatural solutions to try and improve their brow appearance. JJ and Jen set out to find a more natural remedy that was safe, affordable, and most importantly, effective…and BROWFRiEND was born.
